IAT 410: Personal Progress Week 4
This week my goal was to work on what I had set out to do from last week which was the script for our game.
For the script, what I wanted to work on was trying to condense our story so that it could be implemented into a game that has 5 levels as well as be quick and compelling for the players to follow along. Since our story's premise revolves around our protagonist of the game is trying to regain her memory, in order to condense the game, I broke the story into 5 different parts, birth, discovery, madness, death, acceptance, each part representing different points of the characters life. For example, the first part of our game, birth, is the representation of how she was first turned into a android which shows a cutscene at the end of the level of how the protagonist and her sister were first experimented on, in which will trigger to the protagonist to remember her name and what she is. I thought this would be compelling because I wanted the players to keep on playing the game and find out why she is where she is in the game.

Other than the script for our game, I also did some of the UI assets for our game as well, such as the health bar for the character of our game as well as the enemy's health bar. Some other assets that I created was the the UI for the weapons which will be shown to players to indicate what type of weapons they hold as well as which ones are currently set as their attack.
Next week I plan to create more concept art or UI assets for the prototype if needed as well as the story.
